Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of ToolBoxHQ, operated by Snorlabs Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. The Service

ToolBoxHQ is a job management platform for tradespeople. We provide tools for managing leads, jobs, quotes, invoices, client communications, team management, and AI-powered features. The service is available in the United Kingdom, United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Ireland.

3. Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to use ToolBoxHQ. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.

4. Subscription Plans & Free Trial

ToolBoxHQ offers Free and Pro (paid) plans. New users may be eligible for a 7-day free trial of the Pro plan. The free trial provides full access to all Pro features for 7 days from the date of activation. A valid payment method is required to start a free trial. If you do not cancel before the end of the 7-day trial period, your payment method will automatically be charged the applicable Pro subscription fee. Each user is entitled to one free trial only. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the free trial offer at any time without prior notice.

Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe (web) or Apple In-App Purchase (iOS). You may upgrade at any time. Enterprise plans are available on request. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

5. Cancellation & Refunds

You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to all Pro features until the end of your current billing period. Once the billing period expires, your account will be downgraded to the Free plan. No partial refunds are provided for unused time within a billing period. All subscription payments are non-refundable, including payments made after the expiry of a free trial period. If you subscribed via the iOS App Store, cancellation and billing are managed by Apple through your device settings. Apple's refund policies apply to iOS subscriptions.

6. Your Data

You retain ownership of all data you enter into ToolBoxHQ. You grant us a licence to process, store, and display your data solely to provide the service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to input any client data and for complying with data protection laws (UK GDPR) in relation to your clients' data. You are a data controller for your clients' personal data; we are your data processor.

7. Client Portal

When you share the client portal with your clients, you are responsible for informing them how their data will be used. Clients access the portal using a unique PIN code — you should inform clients of this access method.

8. AI Features

AI-generated quotes are estimates based on general trade pricing and should be reviewed before sending to clients. We are not liable for inaccurate AI-generated pricing. Job descriptions sent for AI processing are not stored by the AI provider beyond the request.

9. Acceptable Use

You must not use ToolBoxHQ to violate any laws, infringe intellectual property, transmit malware, attempt to access other users' data, use the platform for any purpose other than legitimate trade business management, or abuse the AI features (e.g. excessive automated requests). You must not share, transfer, or use a single subscription across multiple accounts or businesses.

10. Limitation of Liability

ToolBoxHQ is provided "as is" without warranty. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for losses caused by incorrect quotes, invoices, or other documents generated through the platform.

11. Termination

You may close your account at any time via Profile → Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days (subject to legal retention requirements). Termination does not entitle you to a refund of any subscription fees already paid.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.
